Are You Present?


It's so easy for life to pass us by and it's so easy to exist on auto-pilot. Do you find yourself going through the motions and feeling detached from the collective human spirit?


Do you have a daily meditation and mindfulness practice? When we are navigating through life too fast and we are always trying to reach the next level of success, we often miss what is right in front of us—the moment!


To return to the precious moment you can start with conscious breathing and a gratitude practice. Slow down and switch from your analytical mind to your senses. Notice the colors, sounds, sensations in your body and even your own heart beat. You can also get into nature more and allow yourself to reconnect with the natural energy flow all around you. Notice the design and perfection of nature? It's not in a hurry and yet everything is achieved.


Remember, the answers aren't outside of you. They are within you. The fulfillment isn't in the physical form—it's in your heart. Practices like Qi Gong, Yoga, daily reading, working out and charity work all help you to be present in the moment and switch from auto-pilot to gratitude. Give yourself permission to be fully in the moment and to detach from everything that is creating separation. This might be faulty beliefs, comparison, judgment, regret, hatred, etc. Just love the moment and notice what happens internally. Can you sense the collective heart beat?
